Michel was able to pivot her business into a specific niche market due to the close contact needed for body painting. Friends and family are able to offer gift certificates as part of their virtual baby shower events and Michel sets up a personal experience for the expecting mom. It is a unique way to capture this special moment.
In addition to offering body painting to moms-to-be, Michel has received offers to do body art at small gatherings such as brunch with girlfriends or intimate tea parties at family home events. Michel also receives requests for holiday body painting, especially during Christmas and Easter.
“When I started my face painting business in 2016, I never knew that I would expand to body art for adults. The pandemic forced me to re-look at my business and how I can continue to generate income offering body art painting in-person and now online.” Michel shared.
