History
Aegis is a great success story by any measure. Results driven and continuous innovation have been key themes throughout Aegis’ history. The company built its reputation on its ability to adapt and deliver outsourcing solutions to investors.
This is traced to its original formation out of multinational, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) whose network of firms delivered Assurance, Tax and Advisory services. The strategic decision was made to vigorously push accounting outsourcing services independently through Aegis Business Solutions Limited. Payroll Services were later added by Aegis and allowed to vigorously develop without PwC’s requirements and outside of the dictates of the rules governing Audit.
The company resided at PwC’s head office at Victoria Square, Port-of-Spain for many years before moving to its current location at 18 Scott Bushe Street.
For more than a decade, Aegis’ commitment to operational excellence has transformed and energized clients’ business performance in both private and public sectors.
The Aegis Group of companies includes Professional Recruitment Solutions Limited (PRSL) delivering specialized Contingent Workforce Outsourcing (CWO) solutions to clients and Aegis & Co., which conducts external audits and assurance services.
We recognize businesses need international expertise to work in Trinidad & Tobago on short-term contract to advise and enhance their operations and services to global standards. PRSL meets this market need.
