Vijay is the Client Service Director of ABSL and is a Fellow of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (FCCA) and has completed the Chartered Financial Analysts Program.

 

He has over eighteen years of professional experience in accounting, auditing and finance roles. His auditing experience includes serving as a manager in the big-four firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers as well as public sector audits with the Auditor General’s office of the Cayman Islands. Additionally, he has held Chief Financial Officer roles in two public sector entities of the Cayman Islands.

 

His experience covers a wide array of industries and engagement types and his skill sets presently encompasses Audit Engagement Management, Investment Appraisal, Special Investigations, Internal Control and Management Reporting Development, Budgeting and Control and Operational Management.

 

Vijay has performed special investigations on statutory authorities and other government entities of the Cayman Islands to ensure Government received Value for Money through its procurement practices, general operations, as well as special projects and other undertakings. This experience includes review of capital projects as well as operating licenses with utility providers.
